Anyone want to play some of this co-op together?
It's kind of a pain in the ass to make it work, requires tunneling and some jury-rigging to get passed the now-defunct GFWL. People say it's one of the best co-op games ever, but I wouldn't know since I got it way too late to play with others.

3 was absolute shit but 2 was genuinely fun, I had it on PS3 and played it to DEATH.
I don't even like shooters that much but 3rd person hookshot shooter mayhem with mecha and kaiju was brilliant.

Yeah it's old, I just randomly felt like playing it again. It's basically Monster Hunter with guns.
Not entirely sure the GFWL thing is broken? After a bunch of random updates and restarts to the game it lets me connect. I can see all my other friends playing XBOX and shit just fine. I thought the service was defunct but maybe it'll let us connect to eachother if we try?

The game and franchise are honestly pretty bad, but LP2 is legitimately one of the most fun games I've ever played through in a 4p co-op setting. I think the campaign is fucking awesome. If you get it working, and some others want to, I'll probably play through it again.

Only bad game in the franchise is the third.
First two are fun as fuck. The story is kind-of nonsense (space bugs drop high octane space juice which we use in this space device to rapidly regenerate you and allow you to survive sub-arctic temperatures) but it's just there so you KILL BUGS COLLECT ENERGY GO GO GO.
And also here are some badass fucking mechs because why not.
And also your dude is ridiculously strong tear a giant chaingun off a mech and use it like a portable weapon why not.
Jump inside a monster's mouth and magdump into its fucking heart why not.
