It's a musou, aka run around in a map capturing shit, killing enemies and slaying bosses. You can pick from a whole cast of characters, ranging from BoTH members, pre and post eclipse Guts/Griffith, Guts' new party, and more.

So it's out in Japan and it's getting stellar reviews. When it comes to the west next year it might have gore unlike the censored Japanese version.

Plot wise it's iffy. It does cover stuff the 2016 anime missed, but at the same time, misses stuff the anime and old PS2 game covered. Plus some of the cutscenes are just garbage, which is especially shit when it's important stuff like the Hill of Swords.
