Soul Snackrifice Delta- Cult Edition

Post by srifenbyxp » #14962

Well, well, well! Nar'Sies followers aint got SHIT on these magical bastards. Soul Sacrifice properly unfucked itself in a positive manner and added a piss ton of new content, a new faction, tweaked the AI to be less useless, new magical "fairies", extended story line and instead of either saving or sacrificing you can "leave them to fate" or what ever that shit means right? Because lets face it, CULTS ONLY SACRIFICE SO WHY WOULD YOU pffft SAVE PEOPLE?

Very fun game in mechanics of combat wise, arm blades, mortars, a neat rotating spear thing that spins lightning from its tip and more shoryukens than you can wag a stick at. To level up your guy you either sacrifice or save the monster you put down. Being a murderdick raises your attack and saving monsters increases your HP and defense, you can go either way or be a even bigger pansy and go neutral getting "kind of" the best of two worlds. There are sigils for each alignment/level.
For instance there may be a kick ass power up sigil thats restricted towards a level 4 Dark Arm (i.e Lvl 1 Save / Lvl 20 Sac'n).
And lets not forget the Black Rites, fuck anything and everything over or heal your teammates by sacrificing one of your body parts, over dramatic cut scene? You bet your ass it is, is it worth losing your legs reducing your movement by 50% or having your DEF cut in half? You tell me, AND THAT SHIT DOESN'T RESET AFTER A MISSION IS OVER. You need to use the tears of your little friend to restore it, so be a boss and sacrifice all of your body parts and fight a tough enemy. Think you can spam your best attack? NOPE! use it too much and it'll break and you'll be in the same boat as using a black rite, wait until your attacks get super duper strok and watch that repair cost go way the fuck up because you were retarded enough to over use it without restoring it's use by hugging a tree, banner, or the dead corpse of your fallen foe (or friendlies you ass hole).

It's online mode is neat seeing how they kept it away from ad-hoc but you'll only unlock it until you get by the first boring chapters. Be sure to hope your teammates arent dicks and sacrifice your ass to try and fuck over the boss, but even in death you can still be useful and power up your teammates or weaken the boss. IIRC when you complete a mission dead you get the rewards but not the Soul Level gained.

Story as far as it goes is fan fucking-tastic as the MC slowly goes insane, from what you may ask? Play the game and find out your dam self. It's for the PS-Vita, problem is you can't buy the physical copy and you have to download it, for only one easy payment of $35.00.

To be robust is not about combat prowess, it is the state of readiness for the situation at hand.
