Battlerite, AKA how the fuck did I do that sim

Battlerite is a top-down action-packed Team Arena Brawler focused on competitive PvP combat. It's either 2v2 or 3v3 in a small arena. You pick a character, who has unique abilities, then queue up. Once in game, you choose a powerup that lasts for the entire game, and get additional ones every round. Each person uses abilities and pickups to kill all of the opposing team and win the round. The combat is more tactical than it seems. For instance, when an ally or enemy dies, the game slows down for a second, giving everyone a quick chance to rething their next move. The match is over once a team wins 3 rounds.

This game is fun as hell. Zipping around countering and outsmarting your opponent are keys to success. You get those insane moments where you pull off some insane shit and wonder how you did it. For $17 this is a good deal for the amount of fun you get.

let it be known there are some balancing issues though like Rook, the big fat fuck

Their current elo system is garbage and they know it. Winning usually gets you like 20 max, while losing can take 100 away. Hell, even winning can cause elo loss. I'd need like 200 wins to climb back to g13.

Fun game, easy to pick up and play, hard to master. I love it mostly for how smooth matchmaking feels and how concise matches can be. Takes maybe less than a minute to jump into a game as your favorite character then another maybe 5 to 10 minutes to be done.

I need people who are really good at it here to play more so they can carry me because I play Rook and suck
