So, I dunno if any of you have ever played the forum game 'Mafia', but it seems perfect, based on the paranoia of SS13.

Basically, among a group of people, there's one killer, busy stalking the others. The game follows a night/day cycle, where every night, the killer chooses one player to take out, and every day, the other players choose one person to lynch, in hopes they're the killer. Depending on the number of players, there can also be other roles, like the detective, who every night chooses one person to investigate, and can choose to reveal his findings at any time to instantly take out the killer/keep an innocent from being lynched, or the doctor, who can choose one person each day to revive in case the killer targets them that night. However, the game is mostly one of debate (or arguing), with as much or as little roleplaying as possible. The killer wins if he's the one left standing, while the crew wins if they kill him first (obviously).

So yea. Who'd be interested, or has questions?

So Ill be completely honest. I have never used IRC -or- epicmafia, so it would take me a bit to set it up that way. Not complaining, just that Im used to a forum set up, which is maybe a half dozen posts a day, rather than an actual back and forth conversation. If you guys would still rather it over IRC, then Im totally cool with that.

It's for a small ground of players, large groups has lesser rules but it also has cool shit like blerb, vampire and cult mixed in with other jobs for example the power gaming detective.

When I went to super con I played a game with 30 some odd people. The entire game was nothing but grey tiding, I made the mistake of dressing up as the white version of Tetsuo wearing a all black version and god dam. It was nothing but randomly murdering each other for an half hour until it was down to 15 or less people.

If a game were to take place we'd need teamspeak or whatever and a separate (prefer text based so software doesnt say player has left the channel)chat room (IRC/steam/ Derrrrr) for special roles to communicate to the Moderator for eating villagers or using power gaming skills.

I say once a month or less a admin can bribe players to join with promises of spessman tokens to the victors. Or you bastards can actually play for the sheer fun of it. Plus I'd like to play moderator, it's neat narrating
