Lynching for reading/sending Erotica ex like Woody Got Wood

So I thought it was a general rule that people could lynch erotica readers like if they read woody got wood. So in a recent round one person was sending pda messages to me and the captain of erotica it was not woody got wood but it had something about yummies and cummies. Found out who did it and i beat the shit out of her. Detective finished her off and Qbopper contacted me and I found out it wasn't in the rules. Was there a recent rule change on it? Or was it just because Woody got Wood has meme status and you can only lynch for Woody Got Wood.

I recall many a lynchings of WGW readers and even one time pinpointers were dropped so we could lynch the WGW reader. Which is why i am surprised it's not in the rules at all

This sounds like a fairly classic case of "If you go out of your way to get a reaction out of someone, you don't get to bitch about the reaction you get."

Edit: the WGW clause looks like it's been moved to cover general radio (or other channel) spam:

Spamming any channel is not allowed, this goes for radio spam, AI vox announcement spam, paper at camera spam and other forms of spam. Non-antagonists doing so may not defend themselves and may suffer from IC or OOC consequences. Antagonists can to a certain extent, moreso with reading things like WGW over the radio, but may be told by admins to stop if it becomes excessive. Spamming can result from ingame admin intervention ending in you dying, to admin warnings, to bans for excessive or repeated spamming.

WGW and WGW lynching are both memes and there's no specific rule at the moment regarding anything like this, but I'm still a bit wary to encourage people to seek valids

Let me clarify that the situation in the OP was about relatively isolated incidents and they weren't overly long (from what I understand)

I'd rather err on the side of caution when it's not as blatantly clear as a shitter spamming the radio or something - it's a lot easier to ignore isolated PDA messages than it is a large spammy wall of shit over the radio

EDIT: Just be careful with retaliating against PDA users, messages can be forged via tcomms or someone might just steal someone else's PDA. I wouldn't ban for it personally, just know it exists.

Can I propose an amendment to Silicon Policy to include the "non-Human if you are found to be reading WGW"? With the addition of: Actually make sure it's really them reading it before you get valid happy. If it's erotica/porn it should probably be treated under the same rules we had for ERP back in the day, valid salid.

Reasons are:
1. they are doing it to rile up people
2. It's first class ban bait material
3. It's porn you're exposing people too, most of it tends to be just memes but what if someone actually starts reading the beverly crusher scat fanfiction they found, should players just be okay with being exposed to this kinda stuff?
4. There just is no redeeming value in doing this at all. Best case they do it because of 1 or 2, worst case they start reading their own fanfiction of their snowflake lizard and get off on it. There was a person who kept not only OOC linking porn of their lizard character nude but also PDAing the imgur link to people/other lizards. I am not sure if I want to find out what the motivation was of that.

Did you miss the 18+-years-only parental advisory you get on log in? Players are adults and they know they can be "exposed" to all sort of stuff. If anything, this shows the massive hypocrisy on the admin team: you are allowed to broadcast an erotic play describing explicit sexual encounters on the common radio channel, but if you type the same exact sentences in a secluded room while in the company of another player you're suddenly breaking server rules.
