Bryce Pax Unleashed: Not My Problem Anymore

I'm unbanning Icepacks aka Bryce Pax for multiple reasons

1) Since I've moved up to host banning/unbanning people isn't really my job anymore. It's only a matter of time before he appeals it again at which point I would probably shrug and say the same thing it says in the OP: He's not my problem anymore. With a bunch of new headmins incoming and their own ideas for how the server policy is going to be, it's quite possible the future of the server will be more "Pax friendly". Beats me.

2) I don't want people campaigning for headmin to be promising dumb things like "Vote for me! I'll unban Pax!" as a kind of bread-and-circuses bullshit to get people to vote for them. It's very underhanded and anyone you see mumbling things like that on the forums or elsewhere is probably someone you should avoid voting for.

I would highly recommend to Pax that he keep his head down until the new headmins are in and whatever happens with policy happens. If he starts pissing around again immediately and some other admin dunks him over it, it's out of my hands and he'll have to answer to whoever else.

But anyway, like I keep telling people, policy and banning/unbanning isn't my deal anymore. If you had doubts before this should prove to you I'm not kidding. I'm not going to just unleash everyone I've ever banned, but Pax was my most recent perma and still something a lot of people are divided on. Rather than make it an issue later, I'd just resolve it now and leave it up to whoever gets put in charge of this next to handle.
