Coconutwarrior said he would investigate the issue. What he did not notice was that I, Michael Korsovik, a traitor, said multiple times that I was the one that BoH bombed the shuttle and I was an antag. This is further confirmed by the roundend report. With no offense intended, I am made to assume this ban was made with little to no actual investigation done. I kindly ask that any notes I got for this are removed as well because this was completely unwarranted.
All Coconutwarrior would have need to done was look at the last round end report which even if the round had ended by this point that is what the Your Last Round button is for. It would have completely cleared me of all wrongdoing instantly, but instead, he chose to ban me on a false assumption instead. I hope this can be rectified. Thank you.

I appreciate the link. This also indicates I was an antag at the time this occured, if more evidence was really needed.

The ninja spawn happened as a purely random event. I got one the day before so I can confirm they are not disabled.
he deadmined himself immediately upon the event popping to roll for it though, dont know if that's really relevant to the ban appeal or not however.

You checked the BoH bomb list. You saw the antag printout. You definitely saw the guy saying "hi yes i am antag and BoH bombed".

Not only did he do the research(we have the logs to prove it), but he completely ignored the results it in order to place a false ban with a reason comprised of lies.

He also didn't disconnect either, which is another lie, until 3 minutes after you did.

This was a mistake on my part. I wanted to figure out who bombed the shuttle, but the round had ended so I didn't want to hold back the playerbase from going to the next round for too long. So I rebooted and went log diving. I messaged the other admins how I could find this information out, and they said I should look for "was selected as" in the server logs. So I did that, and was unable to find your name. I looked several times but was unable to find any reference to you being an antag, so I proceeded to ban you. I will unban you, I'm very sorry for giving you such a stupid ban as this and will make sure not to make this mistake in the future. As for the ninja, that was spawned naturally. I took control of it and deadmined myself until I got gibbed later on from triggering my bomb implant, then re-adminned myself to investigate the BoH bombing.

This was well before you started a reboot. Post the timestamps of your admin conversations, because you had a 3 minute window between that delay investigate to see Zack admitting to it.

Additionally,
1. the round end report listing all antags that is in very big text in a popup window
2. missed the admin log readout that specifically says "this guy is an antag" that you would of found if you looked up his ckey or his character name
(funny how this is basic admin knowledge, almost like you either are lying to us or they really aren't training newbies at all)

3. the multiple times he did bad guy antag stuff in the chat/outright said he was an antag, for example

This level of mistakes seems to be representative of our administrators either not being vetted and trained enough for their job, or sheer incompetence, and any policy discussion thread I make on the topic will be shitposted by the senior admins, as the administration does not administrate itself. He's also been with us since the 3rd of this month, meaning he has had ample time to not be a new admin.

What you are seeing is the system working, and not incompetence, if anything, someone who is a little bit overeager and needs to investigate a little more thoroughly but nothing more.

I've lifted the ban and removed the note, as this was apparently just a case of a new admin not being used to the weird ways some things are logged or maybe something being missed during their training. I trust they won't make the same mistake in the future and will be a bit more thorough in investigating.

I appreciate the passion you show for protecting the playerbase and ensuring administrators aren't up to anything shady, but I'd ask that you not attack people over what is most likely an honest mistake by a new trialmin. Not everything is a conspiracy to ban players for no reason.

The logs show me coconut trying their best to find who it is, but missing it or being mistaken on who they were actually looking for for whatever reason. The logs nor coconuts responses read to me as "I just wanted to ban this guy for no reason". It just appears to be an honest mistake.

The "was selected as" thing is indeed in game logs. I pulled them up from a random round:

It's likely an admin only thing for some reason or another.

They likely looked up the BoH boming and saw: "GAME: no key/(Michael Korsovik) detonated a bag of holding" (it only gives the character name as the player is already ghost by the time the bombing is logged iirc)
Then searched the players character name (as the ckey wasn't listed) and didn't see it listed as a traitor, as the "was assigned as" log only gives the ckey.

I don't see anything malicious in this, although obviously the investigation could have been more thorough that's something that comes with more experience.

Also, 2 weeks of experience isn't enough to be an expert at this stuff. These sorts of investigations pop up like once per month maybe.

By the way, ninja has never been disabled as far as I know. It's just a rare event.
