Your side of the story: I was new to SS13 at the time of this story and had only been playing for about a week. I was the chef. I was cooking food and generally just doing my job passively, when the HoS comes in and begins tackling my tables, breaking them, yelling at me, and messing up my food. I proceeded to slam the shutters on him over and over for being a nuisance to me, until he died. I don't think it was OK to kill him, but like I said, I was new to SS13 at the time and was acting out of frustration and didn't know the rules or etiquette. I then brought him to the back and stripped him for his loot, not to gib him. Some of the details are fuzzy, since this ban was a long time ago.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I'm more experienced in SS13 now and I've been told by friends who play on Basil that this shouldn't have been a permaban, given that I wasn't a repeat offender and was new.

Since Doctor Brutality isn't an admin anymore, I'm going to take this one. Have you read the rules of the server, especially escalation policy, since you were banned ? You also say that you have more SS13 experience now - what server have you been playing on ?

Alright. I'd just like to make it clear though, following escalation policy is very important. No more killing people and hiding the bodies as a nonantagonist, even if they started it. Since you're coming off of a permaban, there won't be very much patience from admins for mistakes like this one. If we're clear on that, then I'll lift this.
