Your side of the story: We had a lot of racist copy pastas being spammed out by the Captain role ( XDyou/(Sarah Red) ) - I was personally fed up of it so when I saw the restraints came off we wanted to murder the Captain. When I saw the word "purge" I took it to mean purge as in the movie "The purge" meaning time to go wild. Entirely my fault as I encouraged the borgs to go along with it instead of holding them back and stopping them without escalation. This ended up in not only plasma flooding a lot of the station but canister flooding the escape shuttle as well which ruined the round for a lot of players.

I've gotten as much context of the situation in logs below which I have placed at the very bottom of the appeal as it is rather long. - I tried to get the exact ahelp conversation in logs but I can only get them from my client and my replies to the admin are not there - Nor can I find them in the log files.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I've since looked again at the Silicon policy page and lawsets - I now get purge means "all laws purged" not "Go forth and purge everything" - When I saw the law came in I thought the uploader was an antag and that was a "go nuts" signal - In actuality I get how it is just a unshackle module now and it was uploaded at the request of another silicon player - So maybe the uploader was new. --- Ultimately I get why I got the ban but as I was with more experinced AI mains from other rounds, I thought what we were doing was a okay - I did miss the query from N.T.A.S.C.S asking if I asked admins before doing this so I should have picked up on that. I would appreciate a second look at whilst what I did was blatantly yikes, I did it because I misunderstood the purge law and I do enjoy being in a support role as silicon helping other players round to round. If I could ask for an alteration to the job change I would be grateful but if not I understand.

References of good conduct: Prior to playing on TG I've been a long time player on GoonStation RP - I have a positive note on my player account from January 1st and have been playing on Goon since September 2020.

To note, this ban was issued as you gave your slaved cyborgs several orders to start purging the station. Your orders were the first of the station purge incident. So in addition to the issue with you not understanding your purge laws you further emphasized the issue by giving orders that your slaved cyborgs are expected to follow.

Given that you've now taken the time to read of silicon policy I'll reduce the length of this ban to 5 days, however the ban and note itself will be upheld.
