• 1. Kisses

To quote rule 12, directly:

My usage of the term was by no means demeaning, the sole purpose of the term "faggot" was to be comically absurd. The rule as written explicitly defines an exception for these exact circumstances.

• 2. Love

Rule 8 was created only to outright disallow unabashed erotic-roleplay, and to prevent people from injecting their fetishes unwillingly on other players. All I did was kiss people once or twice before sprinting off.

• 3. Real-World Racism

I'd invite you to reflect on the fact that the usage of the term "Ligger" within the player's lexicon predates the both of us. If Megroe is bad, Ligger is much worse.

Let the record show that in this (and previous rounds) all I did was go around healing people and teaching them the mechanics of the game. Accommodating role-play. Hey there, thanks for appealing. Apologies for this being so long, there's a few logs I have collated.

Your own actions give yourself away, unfortunately. You will be able to find a copy of these logs via https://tgstation13.org/parsed-logs/syb ... 198359.zip, while the collated logs collected before were from in game (and are thus likely a mix between game.log and attack.log), you should be able to find appropriate copies within these logs. I trimmed out a lot of the excess repeat logs (such as escalating a grab, duplicate kiss logging, etc.)

It is not that you simply kissed people, it is that you forced yourself onto them to repeatedly kiss them. This happened not once, not twice, but three times.

To address your complaints that you were not using the words in a bigoted manner, but rather as a term not specifically oriented to same-sex attraction, I applied this Rule 11 Precedent:

Context is important, but somebody being an out and proud bigot, nazi, or white supremacist also counts as context. Somebody who makes it known they are bigoted towards PoCs playing a PoC character that starts checking stereotype boxes isn't going to fool us.

There are a few other interactions, but these three are why I decided to permanently ban you for the better of the server. Despite the Psychologist explicitly saying that they thought that your approaches at love were "gross", you decide to aggressively shove, grab, and otherwise hurt them for practically zero reason. You also bring up the "HERE COME MY LIPS FAGGOT" motif not once, but twice- which makes me believe you didn't seriously consider that usage.

The ban reason may seem like an overstep of rule eight, but that's because although it contains the elements of a Rule 8 ban- it is primarily a Rule 1 ban. You absolutely did not listen to anyone's desires (I believe the HoP was even lagging out while you were doing that, so they couldn't resist your advances). You did not respect any boundaries and made your victims extremely uncomfortable. The fact that you kept persisting in tackling people and having effectively "your way with them" for no reason whatsoever is not acceptable at all. I do not believe anyone who was witness to these events in game (and ahelped) saw it as you (as you bring up yourself): "injecting their fetishes unwillingly on other players". There was absolutely nothing willing about what you had done. You shoved people, tackled them down, aggressively grabbed them, but it's all okay because you just "kissed" them? The overall context of your actions absolutely can not be diminished by what you did beforehand.

The real-world racism was appended onto your ban reason because it was notable to what you were doing throughout the shift. I don't really see why you had to be so lazy with that specific insult to incorporate real world racism. Example: you call moths sweater eaters at different points and times, which I think is much more fitting for the speciesism-masking-real-world-racism we're trying to avoid. If you really want, I can just remove that portion from your ban, but I have no interest in lifting it in its entirety. You showed no respect for people's boundaries (yes, the humans behind the pixels have feelings that were indeed negatively impacted by your actions). You are welcome to re-appeal after you take a good breather from the game (can be shorter than 12 months, just want you to chill out for a good while), but I simply can not let someone who is such a negative afflict to whoever they set their eyes upon remain.

I am of the strong belief that a month ban is not enough, and you definitely need a good portion of time. I merely outlined that portion out as my future here (remaining as an admin long-term) is shakey, and in case you think you've improved in enough time to re-appeal without being slammed by the "12 month rule". I also did not intend to put words in your mouth (probably the passions one, my bad), but I can not see any other reasonable explanation for your actions. You did most definitely force your desires onto other people, though.

A voucher from another community (I personally don't believe in vouchers, but if you really want hard judgement metrics, that's certainly one of them). When you are able to stop doing these harmful things to people or acting out in these outrageous manners, like you had done last year in March 2022:
