Reasons for Appealing - I’ve been told in the past it’s okay to sell bombs as long as I don’t do it multiple rounds in a row. I’ve played on this server for almost 3 years. Have never seen this admin communicate with the previous admins or me before until today. They tried to ban me earlier for following an abductor mind control command. I don’t think a 3 day ban or even a ban in general was necessary after I explained what I have been told in the past by other admins. I work 58 hour work weeks. It may seem weird but this is the one game that brings me happiness. It seems unfair to be told it's okay in the past then banned in the present.

You told me you sold 5 bombs. 3 of them were detonated for a total kill count of around 15 people. The first was set off by a new player picking up a signaler from the floor and pulsing it. The other two were somehow even more careless.

There were 4 stupid people involved here and I banned 3 of them. You are responsible for the weapons of mass destruction that you hand out to the crew. You made these bombs and there were no threats on the station or any legitimate reason for anybody to have them. Save this for when you're an antagonist and you want to cause some chaos - because that's all you're going to get from selling bombs.

There are other tickets I'm not able to see that you are able to access. Most of the conversations I had said it was okay to sell them. Even the ticket you just posted said to safely and very rarely do it as a non-antag... I sold the bombs without triggers and gave a warning to them.

I had one person who requested that I show them how to set up a bomb. I don't expect them setting it off or someone else setting it off to be my responsibility after it's sold. It's just like buying something from a supermarket, the company isn't responsible after giving warning.

You have 127 tickets to your name. I am not going to go through all of them. I understand your concern with being told different things - this is me ending that trend right now. Selling or otherwise handing out dangerous explosives or other weapons of mass destruction to the crew without a compelling threat or reason to use them - such as widespread antagonist activity - is against the rules and will lead to a ban. This is a space station, not a supermarket.

TTVs do not need a trigger to detonate, you can just hit a button on the interface to open the valve and then suddenly there is a hole in the station.

I'm sorry but this appeal is denied, again please stop distributing bombs to people.

I don't mean to be rude Isratosh but I don't see how you couldn't have warned me to stop the trend rather than ban me. All of the free time I have from work is right now. I'm sure you understand that. I would love to be able to play tonight. Especially after being told in the past it's okay to do every once awhile. It's not easy working overtime and having kids. I get to hop on during the weekends and now I'm being told something I occasionally do is not okay, and then getting banned for it.

While they did not the use the language I would have, I feel they adequately got their point across that this was dangerous and asking for trouble. Bombs have a potential for fun or interesting gameplay, especially if you are careful about who you give them to or what they are used for, but the ones you made today were used for grief and gave me grief trying to deal with it.
