Why should this appeal be accepted?:

What happened is, a severe lack of willingness for communication and communication itself,
I was in that surgery room with the security officer, who attempted to quite literally execute the prisoner with either a disabler to the mouth or a laser pistol,
I jokingly said to just take their eyes out instead, and they were fine with it. I was not punishing anybody, it was not my job to do so, I was not a security officer, nor was I carrying out a sentance. I did not act out on behalf of a security officer, I had interpreted what I was told as an order from the security officer, who did not object in any way shape or form to the actions they themselves had ordered.

I tried to convey this with the admin, but they weren't very interested in hearing me out as it seems as if they had already made up their mind

I am honestly very loath to lift this given that you seem to think that you magically lose all responsibility for your actions just because someone kind of told you that you could do something. It's not even that explicit, if you look at the logs - the security officer is pretty cagey about it the entire time, even asking at one point if they're allowed to be doing this.

There are multiple points where you make it clear that this isn't a joke given that you mention that you're "reeducating" them. If you were joking about removing their eyeballs, you wouldn't have gone through with it. Had you taken responsibility and apologized, something to the tune of "I let things get out of hand and I shouldn't have done this, I'm sorry", this would have been a note. Instead, you did everything you could to blame everyone but yourself.

Additionally, your claim that you were following orders is laughable considering that there's no point in this interaction where the security officer in question (Harry Altman) actively tells you to do it - he says "maybe" at one point and just kind of goes along with it from there.

I asked you during the adminhelp why you immediately went to "Take their eyes out" as the punishment for them breaking out of perma and you still haven't answered that question. Until you do, I'm not lifting this.

I maintain that you're not being truthful, because if you were joking, you wouldn't have actually gone through with it. It's like being a Cyborg and going up to a Traitor and saying "Hey y'know what would be funny? If you emagged me. Haha what a funny joke right?" as you unlock your cover.

You weren't joking. You were hoping he'd do it or tell you that you could, thinking that getting permission from someone else would put the blame on them. That's not how it works.
