Vinegar Jones - Escalation over glowshrooms

Description of what happened: I was a botanist and planted glowshrooms. Jones, the atmos tech, wearing a medical hardsuit, tells me to remove the shrooms. I refused, so he shot me into crit with a retro laser (I did not even resist). A while later, I get healed and start planting more shrooms. He once agains threatens me, and I once again refuse, and I once again get shot. This time, I resist a bit, but end up getting murdered anyway. I figure he's a traitor and forget about it. The round ends, and I'm surprised to find out he isn't one.
Why they should be banned: There was no escalation. I did not even touch him until he assaulted me for the second time. It makes no sense to laser someone to death because they planted glowshrooms and you don't like them.

Could you clarify, where did you plant these shrooms?

In hydroponics, in the hydroponics hallway, and in the escape hallway. (Later on the other botanist started planting more all around medical, bar, etc). I planted about 25-30 glowshrooms or so before I got killed.
