I was fine with resetting the AI and demoting the Captain. I do not condone the execution though.

Description of what happened:I was captain and i was making some anit-lizard announcements and added a law telling the AI to be mean to lizards. after a bit of back and forth, the HoS and security commit mutiny and decide to arrest and perma me. (i broke no space laws) ai comes to see me via holopad and i tell it to let me out since i have broken no laws and therefore i am not a prisoner. It lets me back into my office, where HoS comes in, arrests me again, and locked me in a locker in the armory. I broke out of the locker, and he came in a lasered me to death.

Why they should be banned:I broke no space laws, and just made some mean announcements while the AI made fun of lizards. The HoS had no reason to arrest, demote, perma, or kill me.

The situation continued to spiral out of control as my own Sec Officers who were Lizards were being mistreated by the Silicons and you. Several times I ask you to revert the law change but you deny that and say I should ignore it or something.

The straw that broke the camels back was when you made a announcement to order all Lizards to the HoP line to give their ID cards the name of "Star of David' and calling them Jews. I orderd all of Security and a Silicon to the bridge to revert the law change, you are there as well and you agree to revert the law.

However you instead give the Silicon's a law to treat Secuirty as Lizards and to kill them, as the Silicon's start to attack me. I arrest you and ask the CE to revert the law change.

I perma brig you for this crime, but the Silicon's let you out of perma and do whatever they can to stop me arresting you. Under the rules I decide to execute you since I could not hold you in perma with the Silicon's all over me.

About 2 minutes into the round you upload this law - The law specified Lizards are to be treated as slaves, and are to be mocked whenever your AI eyes lands on one.

The when the Hos made this announcement:
Steelpoint/(Alan Bentway) has made a station announcement: I want it on notice that the Captain is acting of his own accord in this matter. There is no NT policy on treating non-human employees as scum. Security will have no part in this debauchery.

When the HoS finally had enough and tried to reset the AI you first tried to deny him by ordering the AI to not open the door then lied to the HoS and said you were going to reset it

I agree with Tsaricide, this was valid. But I'd like to add that you were lucky you weren't banned yourself for making all of security non-human just because you're a comdom.

I was in that round and OP (the captain) was being a massive shitter and constantly trying to kill lizards and pick fights with centcom. That's not how a captain should behave and like Ikkarus said you're very lucky you didn't get banned for it.

Lizards are still players and players are protected by rule 1. If anything OP should be the one being jobbanned for being a dick to every lizard crewmember on the station.

2. As per sec policy:

A person that is intentionally fucking with security is to be brigged.
Should the brigging fail, he is to be permabrigged.
Should that fail, he is to be executed.
If an individual repeatedly does this, or you suspect him of doing so, you should adminhelp.

Having the AI let you out, twice, demonstrated that you were undetainable - making yourself valid for summary execution.

Racially Sensitive Behavior and Outright Racism:
If a player is engaging in racist/sexist behavior, they may be subject to the WGW policy. Should the player step over the boundary between casual racism (overly stereotyped characters, the occasional derogatory term etc) and full blown racism (encouraging genocide, forcing their racist behavior onto the majority/all of the crew) then this begins to cross into being a dick, and admin intervention should be considered.

Racism against lizards is fine IC until you start doing shit like the Captain did in this situation. A jobban would've been appropriate given the situation. A cultural divide between humans and lizards is supported by the minimum of fluff we have surrounding the game. It's not mandatory, I wouldn't encourage it, but it's available as a roleplay device if people want to play with it.

Racism against real groups and people is treated differently because there's no part of NT fluff that says "FUCK THE JEWS" and when you run around the halls screaming that at the top of your lungs you're just being a fucking idiot.

Leave the racism calls up to the admins, don't just decide for yourself someone has crossed a line and lynch they. If you see someone saying something or named something you think is inappropriate you should adminhelp it, not immediately start trying to wrap a toolbox around their head.
