[Tedward1337] Attrition - Random Acts of Badmin

Byond account and character name: Attrition, Thomas Jones

Time incident occured: 5am EST
Detailed summary: During the round we were suddenly told that there were presents under the Christmas tree in the bar. When me and many others arrived there and immediately tried to pick up presents, we learned very quickly they were all cursed.
Mine immediately killed me and turned my body into bones, completely taking me out of the round.
Tedward1337 said in dead chat after wards that it was his doing, and razharas told me it was an act of badmining and directed me to the forums.

I'm pretty sure this round exceeded the two hour mark, and a supermatter crystal was hidden under the tree. Considering the time of the round and the absolute lack of any activity from the remaining meagre antags destructive events are generally accepted.

The round had not hit a 2 hour mark, in fact it was about 20-30 minutes in.

Edit: I was right the first time, it was cult. Sticky has already put it into words for me however.

Secondary Edit: Changed the times of the round, I skipped the start up of one round and thought it was all one, its been fixed.

Was this the round with the wizard that was fucking around and eventually died and got turned into a supermatter shard or another one.

Because if it was that one this was an extended round.

It's not great but it's not horrible.

Having an event that basically says "hey go get this thing!" and then "surprise the thing kills you!" is shitty storytelling. How were they supposed to know? Does this really encourage people to call the shuttle or just create more ghosts?

Next time substitute supermatter for an angry facehugger. Open box, receive facefull of xeno wang. Imminent shuttle call + hilarity.
