Hey look at me! Guy who got real mad, fucked up a bunch of shit, swore he'd never come back, etc. etc.
Now I hang out in the shed just trying to have fun with people and shit up the place a bit with furry garbage. Sometimes I come and go. I'm quite a bit happier now but I still have my own tendencies to be toxic.

Maybe the dude just needs to take that break, or get locked up in the shed for a bit to just...I dunno...get to know people again and stop taking shit so seriously.

There's a middle-ground somewhere between "Goof did nothing wrong" and "He's cursed forever let's bury this guy". To rerun the same shit I said during last week's Napkin drama: there are more punishments and things we've created over the years for shit like this. Durations for bans. Shed confinements.

Creating weird pretenses to destroy a person is like...I dunno. I never thought I'd see this place come to that. And it's been in a lot of weird places already before but like. Damn. Don't sink to that, guys.

This was so long ago not many people will remember, but we left goonstation because we wanted a place to play where we would all be treated fairly and transparently, rather than according to the whims of an admin team who didn't feel the need to justify their actions. The way the headmins are treating Goof and the community is a slap in the face to TLE and all of his successors.

I stated my mind like many other people in this thread have, the only difference being that I for some reason caught a ban for it. Considering that on this page alone we see HornyGranny, Timbrewolf, Hole (funnily enough), Crag, ikysp, Shadowflame99, and Intigracy making posts which echo the sentiments of mine, I'm having a hard time seeing where the "crazy shitflinging conspiracies" are in what I've said.

When you find someone being banned for asking "why was goofball banned?" and then having their ban appeals which asked "what rule did I break?" being wordlessly denied by the person who banned them without any input from admins, that doesn't really lend credence to the idea that there isn't some sheisty, behind closed doors, coordination going on. It feels really great to be able to post with you all again, so happy to be among my fellow /tg/ players on the forum once again. A lot of you are great people. Many such cases!

Hole's reaction, if we have to discuss it, only served to prove my point. This is not how people who are being faced with "silly conspiracies" react. You shrug those off. Hole's behavior confirms there is a high probability of other strange and dubious behavior going on behind the scenes.

I'd like to extend a warm thank you to MSO. In the midst of others proving their uncredibility and duplicitous natures, we see a solid contingent of /tg/ staff who are righteous and have the servers' best interests at heart.
