I didn't stop the chef because I was getting back to doing what I wanted to do which was playing the battle arcade machine. I felt that I had already done enough to ensure that he got up by stabbing him with the epi pen and I stopped giving a crap about what happened to him past that point.

This is a textbook case of correct escalation. I don't know how else you would have wanted me to react other than running off with soiled pants because some asshat in an EVA suit wanted to bother me. My first warning was flashing him and then not following up on it and resuming to play video games (which should be recognized as "fuck off I don't want to deal with you" because otherwise I would have been bashing his head in when he was in stamcrit). I stood my ground and kept trying to play video games until Banana Frank took it too far and actually hurt me. And even then, I still gave him chances to leave and not kill himself by bothering me. You can see that when he himself goes off to grab a fire extinguisher and comes back to keep starting shit with me. I don't know what else to say than don't start shit don't get hit.

Why you think you should be unbanned: This guy killed himself on me; I don't know any other way to put it than that. It wasn't particularly my fault that the chef decided that he made better food than a person and decided to take him to the freezer instead of medbay. I was busy trying to play the Battle Arcade machine and just wanted this guy to fuck off. I even stabbed him with an epi pen so that he would eventually get up if the chef hadn't touched him.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to write out a thorough and well explained appeal!

I initially placed the ban in question due to your interaction with Tesora resulting in them being removed from the round, as well as the fact that I had missed the initial throwing of the metal by Tesora in the logs and was unable to get your side of the story due to you disconnecting. Now that I have a clear picture of what happened I have gone ahead and lifted the ban.

However in the future, if you retaliate to something as minor as a sheet of metal being throw at you with death, try to make more of an attempt to ensure they are not removed from the round. A single epi-pen in hardcrit, after you witnessed the chef chopping them to pieces isn't exactly acting in good faith.

I was paying more attention to the video games that I was playing than the chef dragging the guy away but I guess next time I'll stop homicidal chefs from dragging people into the backroom. Any normal person or chef would have taken them to medbay since they were a bystander rather than gibbing them because "haha the ebul anteg is dead!". If anything the chef deserves punishment for round removing someone rather than taking them to medbay.
