() - The ban was given without any context from me and I never got to say my side of what happened.

Why should this appeal be accepted?: In order to explain what happened you have to understand what happened from a character perspective. I'm an atmos engineer and I'm being assaulted by a antagonist named uwumi i believe, uwumi has stunbatoned me and is actively doing so while this moth engineer is just standing there over me listening to me scream at him to help me and is doing nothing to help me. The entire time that uwumi is stripping me of my stuff and stun batoning me this moth engineer is just standing over me doing nothing. So in a fit of rage my character beats the crap out of him. The Chief Engineer hearing that the moth engineer just let me get beaten and stripped of my engineering gear while just standing there watching proceeds to beat the moth to death.

The other moth engineer WAS helping you, he just wasn't doing it by fighting Uwumi.

So instead of chasing after Uwumi, you decided to project your anger on someone who actively tried to help you instead.

I'm not seeing that he was just standing around, he tried to help you and you paid it back with beating him to near death.

The CE was an antag by the way, but it was you who initiated the beating in the first place.

I'm willing to reduce this to time served, but you shouldn't be beating on other people for not fighting off the other moth, especially if they tried to help you.

Attacking "bystanders" is a risk and I rather you talk with them before going straight to murder.
