Insane individuals

Post by Itseasytosee2me » #711146

I recently had a conversation with a conversation with my fiancée's uncle, a man I up into this point new very little about. The things I heard leave his mouth were perhaps the most wild, unfounded, fantastical, and over all insane beliefs that I have ever heard uttered from an individuals mouth. The conversation consisted of him telling me about the secret world of politics I was completely unaware of, while I nodded along only interjecting to ask clarifying question or the like.
Here are a list of some of the things that I recall him claiming:

-The conflict in Gaza is entirely made up by the government and media
-There are multiple US white houses planted across the united states as well as in foreign countries that are used to shoot illegitimate presidential announcements and emigrations.
-George W Bush (as well as most presidents proceeding and following him) was a member of the Free Masons, and does blood sacrifice and sex rituals in some castle in France
-Almost any time you see any political person on TV they are Computer generated
-Electricity can be produced infinitely and freely through tesla coils, the government is trying to hide this from us for some unknown reason,
-All/most members of the united states senate and house of representatives were hanged back in 2010. Everyone you currently see in the senate is an actor.
-All world leaders are working together in a massive plot against all of humanity, and they worship Satan.
-Within the world leadership there are a group of "white hat" generals who are undermining the satanic plot, and are attempting to cause the economy to collapse (within the next year) from the ashes of the economy they will bring a new currency called the "rainbow" which will be backed by gold and therefore much better for the American people.
-The 2020 election was rigged
-Donald J Trump is the only US politician not involved in this overarching plot but is aware of it. (He offered no response when I asked him why the super powerful demonic government allowed an outsider to become the leader of the united states)
-On trump's first day in office, he signed three executive orders which outlawed pedophilia, because previously members of congress (who are also still supposedly computer generated or actors) were allowed to molest children due to a technicality, but trump was able to stop it and that's why they rigged the 2020 election against him.
-His own parents were kidnapped and brainwashed by the democratic party.
-There are carcinogenic chemicals in most processed food we buy (which is true, but he said it was there because the government was trying to cull the population)
-There is no conflict between Russia and Ukraine, nor between any two countries, as they are all secretly ran by the same individuals. All atrocities you see from the media are total fabrications.
-Christ is coming back, and he implied that Donald trump was likely the reincarnation of Jesus Christ.

Despite all this, he believes that by voting for Donald trump in the 2024 US presidential elections, Trump will manage to over through the entire shadow cabal and quash all devil worship.

You may be able to point out multiple contradictions, inconsistencies, or the like within these statements, but he has assured me that it all makes sense if you do your research.

I believe all people are worth redemption, but I ask you, are all people capable of it?

People here in the states are so fed up with the Govt in its current corrupt state that perceived outsiders like Trump (especially Trump) are enticing candidates. Even though he governed like an establishment republican. Tax cuts for the rich, austerity for govt assist programs, stripping of rights, hateful demagoguery. Any outsider that truly works outside of the establishment will be targeted aND crushed

Hes actually a pretty cheerful dude. I guess the global demon worshiping cult thay controls the world doesn’t get him down too much.

I dont know how you help a man like that. Its not like you can forcibly medicate someone. He doesn’t have plans of violence. Society, his family, and friends, seem to be content to call him a crackpot and move on.

His brother, and my to be father in law, is also a wackjob who thinks the moon landing is fake, vaccinations causing autism, etc. A little more mainline qannon stuff than the biblical rantings of the uncle in law.
The thing is, even though they both disagree with eachother, they will never challenge eachother because it implies that their own insane beliefs are worthy of the same scrutiny.
I think some part of them knows that they are using lies to justify beliefs and comfort themselves. It seems like it was never really about finding out whats true in the first place.

I had a long conversation with a crazy gentleman once. I was waiting at the bus stop following an evening event at my church when a short, portly fellow with unkept hair and a beard asked me if I went to the church beside the stop. I replied that I did, and he followed by asking:

"Did you know that this church kidnaps girls and forces them to be in porn?"
I replied by saying "I dunno man, I've been going to this church my whole life. I think I woulda heard about something like that."

He immediately dropped the subject and moved on to another. The conversation shifted from topic to topic: Turns out this gentleman was the reincarnation of the prophet Elijah; Satan saw out of his left eye and God saw out of his right. I was fairly laid back but he seemed confrontational at first. It was wintertime and my jacket was a bit light, so he asked me why I was "trembling". I replied that I was just shivering but he didn't seem to believe me. Eventually the bus arrived and we boarded. It was warmer inside, and he remarked that "Oh, so you actually were just shivering." He asked me if I was baptized, and when I replied in the affirmative, he suddenly got a lot more relaxed.

He started telling me about his visions, like how FEMA is going to start rounding up people to be killed, how Satan and God keep telling him things and competing for his mind and body, how he can do miracles and prophecies, how he totally was the Biblical Elijah, etc. I gave skeptical but nonchalant responses like "I dunno man, do you have any proof of that?" His replies were that of pitiable frustration, along the lines of "I just know, okay!" He had some bulky headphones on during the bus ride. At one point he proudly informed me that they were playing the Psalms on loop and attempted to place the headphones on my head so I could listen, a invitation which I non-verbally declined. As for his living situation, the ancient Israelite prophet mentioned living with his mother and having a girlfriend, though I doubt the latter was real given his mental condition.

I eventually got off at my stop (the bus loop at the end of the line), told him that I hope he gets help, and the conversation ended on a pleasant note. He remained on the bus, going right back to where we started- either he missed his stop or he boarded the wrong bus just because he wanted someone to talk to. While the man's delusions were funny to hear, the whole interaction was bittersweet. Makes you wonder how many lonely cooks there are out there, desperate to tell the world about their delusions even though nobody wants to listen.

I had a coworker that worked nights with me. He was fuckin' insane.

In no particular order, he
  • thinks charities are scams as the American Cancer Society would not pay for his wife's treatment after donating years prior
  • voted Trump is president, is also a sovereign citizen. Insert every inane, batshit dumbfuck conspiracy theory re: January 6th here as valid/gospel
  • is a flat earther
  • was variously racist, spoke favorably of eugenics/segregation
  • spent his entire life savings on silver coins/bars/etc for when society inevitably collapsed. Gold was not an option as various secret agencies have mostly emptied fort knox, also antisemitism
  • believed that gravity and evolution are just theories, made up
  • thought that hot summers proved global warming was a lie
he probably should have been fired

Also I don't even try to correct their judgement, or give half answers/agreements. It fuckin' feeds their narrative when people just try to move through the conversation. Eventually my instant response was just "No, no way. Show me proof, you sound like a fuckin' idiot." I have another coworker with similar shit beliefs, he tries bringing up bioweapon labs in Ukraine under CIA control.

I have tried talking nicely, bringing proof, to outright point by point destruction and nothing works. People are addicted to it, I don't understand.

i have a coworker who says that the wildfires in maui were caused by a microwave cannon created by the government to start pinpoint fires so they could burn down a bunch of peoples homes because Oprah wants the land to turn into a private plantation

he stated that the same technology was used to heat up the metal beams inside the twin towers to cause them to collapse on 9/11/2001 to justify an invasion of iraq

he said this cuz i was microwaving a bowl of soup and he wanted me to know of the evils of microwave technology

we both work for the company that produced the first commercially available microwave oven

When someone is lied to enough by the government and mainstream media I find that anything from alternate sources, especially when said with passion and conviction, Can take hold. The authoritative sources are bullshit, this guy must be right! He believes it see? Even with evidence from a science based source becomes seen as unreliable because the "enemy" agrees with it. It's awful how this happens.

Most of the individuals who i seem to suffer from this issue (woman and man, young and old, libreal or conservative) seem to fall into these categories:
Substance abuse
Poor quality of education (usually as a result of poverty or untreated behavioral disorders)
Overly authoritarian and abusive parents

When we have a person who has not been trained in basic logic, critical thinking, or reasoning it leaves them highly susceptible to any old lie that aligns with their general view of the world.
How do you save a person that can’t be reasoned with? Most of them are far past their formative years, and can be harmful to get in contact with.

My fiancé’s father for example is a rampant narcissist who only seems to think about people in relation to himself. If he ever does a nice thing for you, you can expect him to bring it up later in order to attempt to guilt trip you into doing something or to give him praise. He never admits to telling a lie, or not knowing something. If you ask him a question he doesn’t know, even something incredibly benign, 9/10 out of ten he will just make some shit up or say something unrelated that is supposed to make you think he knows what he is talking about.
It’s caustic to mental health to try to reason with people like that. What can fix them? Therapy? Medication? Can you truly talk someone out of it through compassion and conversation? are some people just beyond help all together?

I kind of miss the days before everyone took internet armchair psychology 101 so if someone was a weird dick you wouldn't say "oh he's a malignant narcissistic" or "she has BPD" and you would just say they're an asshole

FDR caused Pearl Harbor—Churchill caused the Lusitania disaster. Picketts charge in Civil War ordered by Lee.—All 8 american presidents that were killed or attempted on were against a central bank or federal reserve. t hat is the common denominator.—Roman Popery and the jesuits had a big part in killing Lincoln—Osama was a myth and buried at sea so as not to be examined in american autopsy.—Bush, Cheney, and Mossad caused 9–11 to start a war based on big money aquisition.—Freemasons handshake ended yorktown would be slaughter with GW and Lord Cornwallis agreeing to pick it up later in 1812. Much more but that is enough for now.

When I was in grade school YouTube recommended conspiracy videos to me for a while. I was fully convinced that 9/11 was fake and that Americans were being put into FEMA camps to be exterminated. I wasn't from the US and I didn't even know what FEMA was. Luckily I just sorta grew out of it. Looking back I don't understand how I believed any of that stuff but at the time I was so sure that it was real. I was just a kid back then so I do wonder what it takes for an adult to believe in that stuff.

The problem is there are so many real actual conspiracies that the US government has done. "The government is spying on everything we do!" used to be a tinfoil hat conspiracy theory like everything else mentioned in this thread, but since the snowden leaks, we know it's actually true, and everyone has just kind of....accepted it.

Personally, I subscribe to the theory that US intelligence agencies put out bullshit conspiracy theories (aliens, lizardpeople, the moon landing was fake, 9/11 was an inside job, etc.) to distract from the real ones (operation northwoods, mass surveillance, COINTELPRO, the reason we finally pulled out of Afghanistan is because fentanyl was figured out and made mass producible, so the intelligence agencies can get their black funds from that domestically rather than relying on us controlling massive poppy fields in Afghanistan watched over by US troops in order to manufacture heroin, MKULTRA, etc.)

The problem is, a lot of people don't seem to be able to determine which ones are real from which ones are fake.

I have no compunction with calling someone an asshole even if I get their pathos. Especially if they're aware of it. Your daddy beating you as a kid doesn't excuse being a dick.
