I find it odd that despite having a full time job and savings I seem to have less disposable income than I did 10 years ago, working my first part time job in a supermarket (atleast it wasn't mcdonalds)

I was looking a nice new powerful water cooled PC because my current one is approaching seven years old, and even though I can afford it with plenty of money to spare I stopped myself and said "No, don't spend that much money on a time waster".


Also all my old drinking mates are married with kids and none of us have been out once in the past couple of years.
