that's kinda like saying everyone cheats when they first play a game, which isn't true.

Metacomming requires continuous and concious effort to cheat. A newer player opting to try to get round based info their character isn't supposed to know, and to collude with others is engaging with a game that they barely understand in bad faith.

Normally cheating happens with more experienced players that are burnt out and want a shortcut, not new ones.

the dictionary definition of metacomming being turned into cheating is some real LARPy shit. in all technicalities i “metacommed” when i first played but it wasn’t like i was doing it to specifically cheat, i would just be asking questions and having a good laugh with friends. quote on quote “metacomming” was so much fun and i enjoyed hearing the laughters of my friends as i was telling them that the clown just walked up to me and Exploded or something equally as stupid lol. it really becomes a huge issue when you’re not talking to people or you’re metagaming by going out of your way to aid your friends

i wasnt talking specifically in relation to the ban fyi i was just soap boxing. should have clarified. this guy has been caught metagaming with his buddies like plenty of times. it's easy to see why metacomming is an issue
