It works now? I thought all it did was made it so you can unwrench the front when its broken, but you still need to deconstruct and reconstruct it to be able to replace the charred board.(it complains the frame is too damaged) Do you just put a sheet of iron in it or something? Do I actually not need to deconstruct it fully?
If so, that will make it SO much easier.

How do?

If cover is damaged but not broken you can welder it

if cover is broken you crowbar it off and replace it using a new apc frame then welder its health back up (because you literally just slapped a new cover on so any hit will just break it again)


the thing about the charred board is a red herring basically you either have a charred board that crumbles or its emagged/malf hacked and you get rid of it and it magically vanishes.

Nothing ever actually causes the apc board to be destroyed and it exists perfectly fine until the apc is fully deconstructed.

im going to be real with you chief after playing this game since 2019 i simply accepted that apcs work on black magic and any time i see a broken one i just move to a different room instead of trying to parse the eldritch knowledge involved in fixing the fucking things
