The Peanut Drought of 2564
The peanuts have run so low, we're resorting to Players' Club cannibalism and peanutting joke threads.
When will it end? Who will break our cycles of guilt? Who will be our martyr, creating the most entertaining of peanuts for the whole gallery to enjoy?

Oh, I gotchu, I'll go play a single round of security and spawn a ban appeal, a policy discussion thread, and 1.5 peanuts.

Sam asked an assistant on the arrivals shuttle where to get a discord invite, and the assistant linked him one.

Re: The Peanut Drought of 2564
the history behind that song is actually really cool
its a psuedo anthem for ceasefire in the troubles
"Zombie" is a protest song by Irish alternative rock[1] band the Cranberries, written by the band's lead singer, Dolores O'Riordan, in response to and in memory of two young victims of a bombing that occurred during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

I am here to complain to everyone that cheshi was lying and does not, in fact, write poetry, much to my disappointment.

Re: The Peanut Drought of 2564
Songs with historical context are some of the most interesting pieces of media out there. Certainly a lesser example, considering it’s not referencing any event but a whole social change, Gorillaz’ “Stylo” was one of the first songs that I realized had a meaning to it below the rhythm as a kid.
“Coming on to the overload,” and statements like that lament the increasing overpopulation of the world and a greater move towards technological advancement without regard for effects on our humanity. Very interesting stuff for a fourteen year old me, and scintillating now that I’ve begun to see the effects of what the song explores.
Of course, “Dirty Harry” by the same band is far more contextual to this conversation, speaking out against America’s middle-eastern involvement during the early 2000’s (Desert Storm, Iraq/Iran conflicts) and the movement of soldiers as pawns for the old, rich fools in Congress.
“Kids With Guns” has a very similar feeling to it, though I’ll admit I haven’t nearly analyzed that one through enough to remark more upon it.
I quite like a lot of Gorillaz’ work, and I’d recommend it highly to anyone who likes techno, indie, rock, and even rap. Damon Albarn’s a genre-hopping genius.
