My apologies to Icepacks, but in my personal opinion, their train of thought is very bizarre. After reading their justification, it does not yet occur to me how discharging a lethal firearm into the general direction of other people is harmless. More so, the bewildering claim that because of "bad aim" nobody was ever threatened, is proven false, because a substantial amount of shots did strike an innocent passerby and the intended target. Icepacks is in their right to react to the thrown pie, every person is to be allowed to defend themselves against bodily harm, however, the strategy and method employed by Icepacks is, for a lack of better word, incomprehensible. In most countries, this would be considered attempted murder. It is strongly recommended that Icepacks reviews their conduct and the responsibility that they hold as an officer of the law.

ss13 sec lasers are not the equivalent to irl police discharging their guns, maybe irl a cop who did that would end up getting 21 days off (<-- le america joke) but in ss13 it should not even warrant a look most of the time

Ice Packs has that 100% pro mechanic knowledge. If I shoot normally lethal gun with this quirk it literally wont hit.

While to anyone without that knowledge (It's been a minute since I played and I didn't even remember this quirk existed) It'd be like "Oh my god this rogue seccie is literally trying to kill me for little reason, he must be an antag in disguise or something"

It's rapid escalation, with the only saving grace is ice pax being a seccie. If he had a syndicate revolver that he found on the floor randomly as any other role and was shooting it into the halls knowing he couldn't hit jack. Any other player would have reasonable liability to gun him down!

The ban is wack, but the gimmick was destined for doom.
