This would be highly recommended, considering the charge that they were found ad hoc guilty of was made entirely on speculation with seemingly no attempt made to verify it.

We would be interested in hearing how exactly a "dog" spaced the artificial intelligence core, because, to our knowledge, the core is firmly bolted to the ground, as well as protected by an assortment of laser turrets, with non-lethal and lethal firemodes. Also, to our knowledge, a "dog" has no capacity to physically manipulate the station to the extent as to disable the laser turrets, bypass security locks on the doors and then yank the core out of the AI satellite to space it. We believe there to be a significant amount of aiding and abetting to have taken place by the artificial intelligence against itself to allow for these events to have taken place, thus giving a false impression of the dog's role in this crime.

probably not going to hear the circumstances from the admin's side given the immediate unban, on the surface the whole thing looks real dumb.

I assume the admin slammed the button more because the AI was flippant about following a order that was clearly in the interests of saving human lives and the admin just assumed without checking (or asking) if they did anything about the supposed human harm that was happening. So it's nothing as daft as 'Corgis are human LOL' but more about stonewalling a non-human who is asking for help saving humans to the point of obstructionism. Obviously no obstruction happened and dog knows how the AI was in a situation where it could be spaced by the corgi. Odd ban, quickly overturned once more information was revealed.

For what it's worth, everyone makes at least once dumb as fuck mistake. I remember nuking a viro for a week over what looked like intentional release of a really lethal virus, only to later work out a series of circumstances led to his infected monkey escaping like a cliche horror film. It led to what amounted to unbanning the guy half a hour later and attaching a message apologizing for the mistake with the lesson ingrained that just because someone gets hostile without defending themselves doesn't mean they were actually guilty of anything; some people just don't want to put up with jannie bullshit. Also hurr durr, check for fucking events retard admin. God what a dumb ban that was.
