This exploit is quite bad but ATHATH used it in a relatively low-impact way. There are several ways to use this exploit for easy murderbone.

it’s less about this specific exploit and more about athath finding an exploit and instantly using it for their own benefit for the millionth time. they’ve been banned for exploiting like this several times already so this is more the straw that broke the camels back so to speak

He codedives, tests things on a private to find exploits, uses them himself for his own entertainment, and THEN reports or fixes them.

idk if this is bait or not but ath didnt get banned for this one singular exploit that may or may not have negatively affected said round, he got banned because he does it constantly.

he codedives, loads up the source on a private server, finds the most efficient way to do an exploit then hammers it into the ground. he's been warned about this, he's been banned for it but he keeps doing it. Just a few weeks after getting unbanned and literally being told he would be permad for abusing exploits, he goes and does the exact same thing again.

I don't dislike ath, I think he's a good coder but he really cannot take the hint to not exploit bugs for his benefit.

Mostly that he was unbanned multiple times with an explicit "it may or may not have been funny but you need to stop doing it on /tg/'s live servers."

The problem is that he often doesn't fix it until someone's found out about it being an exploit. We can't give an exception to someone just because someone might find it entertaining.

The problem's that he knows about the bugs for a long while. He boots up private hostings to figure out how to use it most effectively. Abuses it in a round (USUALLY in a way detrimental to everyone else) and THEN fixes it, after he's had his fun with it. It's the pinnacle of bad faith.
