This is dumb and doesn't make any sense. Is it supposed to be stuffed or something?
Slightly off-topic and more controversial, attaching a skirt to a jumpsuit kinda defeats the whole purpose of a jumpsuit.
I'm not saying we shouldn't have skirts or just female-specific clothing in general but I think we crossed the line between logic and aesthetics somewhere around the time someone thought prisoner jumpskirts were a good idea.

whatever though skirts were originally added to stir drama and piss people off, this does more of that, seems like a win for america.
These sprites look pretty good. Try as I might, I can't bring myself to care about the built-in booba. Jumpskirts are meant for female characters. Although different sprites for different bodytypes like what Bethesda does with outfits might be better. Don't jumpsuits already fit differently on males and females? Something about missing pixels for a more feminine waist?
Also jumpskirts were always dumb and for some reason irritating but they're just something we have to live with now.

I think it would be cool if suits AND skirts had a different sprite for male and female body type. They don't look very different currently and you often can't tell at a glance without examining. Of course bulky outerwear like space suits shouldn't be that way, but regular old jumpsuits and even basic armor you should be able to tell someone's body type at a glance, as for whether these sprites are excessive, I think I'd have to see more in game screenshots preferably with other gear equipped on top like an armor vest to see how it meshes before I gave an opinion
I decided to load it up and take a look at it and there's defiantly an issue with the skirt as the existing system that differentiates the male and female body type is doing something strange to the sprite
The left is female body type and right is male body type
It also sticks out beyond armor so that's an issue
