when theres no dirt and shit, it usually gets pretty stale, most of the time, admins dint really do anything or antags are being lazy

so, is their shit you can do other than play arcade games and bar rp? and shit that you can do while not getting your ass blasted from the admins for doing something as a non antag

Go back to basics, as an atmos tech, I like to upgrade shit (doors and walls) using highly wasteful plasteel production from plasma. I learned a lot just from looking into what players take for granted as static or worthless.

If you're bored there's a good chance others are too. I'm not very good at this myself but you could try some shenanigans that are easy for others to join. Dress like a mobster and act like a schmuck to get your mafia going for example. I had some success on Terry turning an abandoned office into an employment office. I would make up jobs for the people that came in. I have no idea what a middle pipe manager is supposed to do, but that's your job now good luck!

This is what I get for reading the title wrong.

But you know what, you can still do something equivalent as a non-antag. Make tritium using this same method and cans of air (you won't make much more than trace amounts). Impress your friends. All you need is a mining pod and a complete disregard for occupational health and safety.

Mining pods block air flow using their tiny fans in their entrance. If you sequester the pod somewhere safe (maybe in the middle of space just to be sure), you can toss in a fuckton of plasma and canned air to whip up a nice slow burn.
