And since this is thread is likely to attract some relevant parties ; if you're a non antag and you're screwing over another players round significantly you can expect to get some admin pushback there. Including bans if you get them killed. While xenophobia is IC allowed, there's nothing deeper in administration rulings that cares about the player's species.

I've also noticed when people play xenophobic characters it pretty much becomes their whole bit. Anything resembling rp begins and ends at "i hate lizards".
Aside from that they're either complete silence NRP shitters or just generally unpleasant to deal with. Obviously this doesn't apply to all xenophobic characters, but it happens more often than not.

I do actually see a fair amount of lizard-bullying focused on their race in a way that is distinct from humans, but that's beside the point. Bullying players for playing a race you dislike OOC is less of a solution than pursuing external changes. I suppose the question to ask oneself is "to what degree is my opposition to felinids as a race legitimately motivated by writing consistency or motivated by the server culture (which is a thinly-veiled way of saying circlejerk) saying that's what I'm supposed to do?" I'm not accusing you of anything in either way; I can understand the universal consistency argument.

I remember being pissed that I was stuck in permacamp for a race choice and ahelped for law 1. I was told it was an IC issue.

So unless I’m missing something I’m pretty sure someone picking a fight with your cat OC isnt that problematic.

Edit: When in doubt, escalate to a kill over racism and start the forum fire of a century with that sweet appeal peanut.
