Make more things hackable
Add wire hacking to more items
Hacking:
Adds complexity
Allows for the implementation of features that otherwise wouldn't make sense
Opens new routes of player creativity
Indirectly makes circuits and remote signaler devices cooler by giving them more ways to interact with the world
Feels cool
Call to action (All good essays need one):

Yesterday I wanted to infiltrate sec with a chameleon outfit so I bought an emag and ordered a mindshield case from cargo ibky for the emag to not work. Then I bought and used an emp on it only for that to not work either. Bruh

Tip: Because of jank, you need to be on harm intent combat mode to break open containers with an emag.

Hacking is in a weird place because a lot of the coolest interactions are reserved by the emag. But I agree that more hax would be fun

I wish you could put spring loaded syringes in door panels, so if someone tries to open the hacking access panel it pops out and tries to stick you in the hand.

Rightfully so, I think, given how the emag has had the most significant aspect of its functionality handed over to the AAC and now it's only really purchased by Chemists, Bartenders and heads who wanna do a gimmick with the comms console, so removing even more of its functions to hand it over to hacking would be to its detriment.
I know that's not what you're saying, and I agree that more stuff needs to be hackable but I understand why those cool interactions are locked to the emag as is
