Funny you ask, I've been recently interviewing gay and straight friends and my findings are consistent with the tested theory that the ring finger extends in length with amount of testosterone exposed to in the womb, in fact, XX intersex people who were unfortunately overexposed to testosterone in the womb to the point of genital disfigurement have ring fingers consistent and often expecting that of men.

It's real science and gives significant insight into how sexual attraction ties into biology (although it's almost certainly not the only factor.) It's not an anti-lgbt argument, although the concept that "if your pointer is the same length is your ring you are gay" is a gross simplification used as a funny bit by children, it is still based on real science however.

Anyways the answer to your question is the same length because the index and pointer finger are the same finger ya fool.
