That's standard practice, but in this case the complaint is technically about the fact his old ahelp related to the previous round went unhandled while I was busy investigating the incident that had just happened and so isn't covered by that standard.

So my question is what do you do as captain to someone that baton you and shoves twice, and then continues to try to baton afterwards. Unfortunately, my answer for him was sabre after I did tell him to knock it off.

You could say I am disappointed that he got away with a serious rule break as you know and I know, logs of a past round isn't immediately released once it is over. So reading up that he did infact request someone to hypnoflash him to become an antag. That action is real shitty, equal to a borg asking for an emag.

As a non-antagonist you may begin conflict with another player with valid reason (refusal of critical services, belligerent attitude, etc) OR if it does not excessively interfere with their ability to do their job. Whomever you engage is entitled to respond to your actions. If the conflict leads to violence and you had a poor reason for causing conflict in the first place, you may face administrative action.

If you are wronged, you are expected to handle the conflict non-lethally whenever possible, escalating in severity as the conflict continues. As the defending party the rate of escalation increases with you, up to and including violence, while the instigator is always able to respond in kind.

You were not acting as security, so this is normal escalation. You, as the person who started the conflict by randomly stealing the CMO's crap, were not entitled to pull out your captain's saber and gut the guy, because he hadn't started using lethals on you yet. You WERE entitled to use your own telebaton and restrain him, and do almost anything other than brutally murder him for trying to reclaim his belongings.

In my ban appeal, you can read I asked three separate times about the CMO. Genuine interest, however, the hang-up was on stolen crew pin pointer. "apparently, real expensive." Seriously, their words "It is much harder to investigate issues after the server has already reastarted, and admins are under no obligation to do so." And the instant boot off the server is my complaint as well.
I was very willing to wait and talk to them, spending 40 minutes of my time on them alone. I requested to go to centcom prison via ahelp and also centcom message, so we could talk and I would have out of the round. you saw yourself, 30 seconds for them to fat finger over the ban 1 month on a roles, (I don't play command, you can check scrubby if you are interested.) and the one day ban to screwed me out of my own ahelp about the same bad faith CMO player.

Totally, get it. weird situation, lets be real clear. Baton is not something to take lightly as a joke. He didn't use words, he used his baton on me first, thinking that was a great idea. Everyone knows that the combo is true, if you baton and push twice, that person isn't coming up. However, if you have scan to set to arrest and a beepsky on stand-by, you aren't free stam-crit meat on the ground. I am pretty sure he panic'ed hard when I didn't really let go of his self-antag. if you want to be RP about it, get the lawyer or security to get it back. CMO choose action over words with his decision to stam-crit me.

Gotcha, so pretty much what I thought. The situation didn't go as you wanted with your ahelp after the very round which contained the events had already passed, so you blame it on admin negligence/abuse (?)

Then just appeal it and period. You've shot yourself in the foot by forwarding this into an admin complaint when your actual gripe is that the admin, you say, wrongly banned you. You got nothing tangible to complain about so you're just doing yourself a disservice.

Also it's a game, if you are so hurt and displeased for spending 40 minutes and then not having an admin treat you like a self-entitled king and doing your will, these problems are just in your head. Go feel the sun on your skin a bit.
