I've definitely been considering doing the same thing to get the Manuel Experience™ (and also to see how people react to hostage situations on a server where the only answer to a hostage situation isnt "We dont negotiate with terrorists." *shoots through both the hostage and hostage taker's heads, killing them instantly*).

A Peanut Thread (Short for Peanut Gallery) is a thread in the Player's Club where people go to comment on bans and the associated appeals; their opinions on them, the players involved, and the admin's involved; and anything else that they really want to, including but not limited to a highly in-depth discussion on the intricacies of Starsector.

It's a compromise where forumites aren't allowed to shit up appeals and complaints with their spicy hot takes and opinions, but can still publicly comment and discuss them elsewhere.

Although I have disagreed with a few of his more recent opinions, timberpoes has genuinely made the community better for the past few years.
Like in almost every way, not only on the forums and in ban appeals but in game as an admin he actually encourages good play through positive reinforcement. Genuinely just an ideal admin.
