My outmost gratitude, and congratulations to everyone involved in making this happen, and everyone participating. You're all golden.
It was a beautiful tournament, and as passionately crafted as one could ask for. Even getting to the finish line despite the attempts of a certain minority at twarting it, with everyone holding their heads up in the end, and raising a jawdropping amount of money for a good cause. Can we really ask for anything else?
My best wishes go to everyone dealing, or having someone close be dealing with this old-as-time, relentless, monster of a disease. Fuck cancer!
I'm honest when I say I'm getting watery eyes when writing that I'm proud of forming at least a tiny part of this community, because even with all the ups and downs, strong mentality clashes, or disagreements we all may have with each other, when all is said and done, look how much good it does to the world when we come together. Sorry for my sudden sentimentality.
