The worst part is that he doesn't even update their records. Not only does the player being arrested not know why, the rest of security doesn't know why, command doesn't know why, and the admins don't know why unless they bwoink him.

And if you're using it on an onslaught or other heavily-armored ballistics ship, you can pretty reasonably get into close quarters and armor-tank while you're letting them get maximized eff/damage from that close quarters engagement.

Report back I decided to play bee it feels like purgatory it has so many features that stress me I discovered im not allowed to know how any antags work if I'm not in the specific job department being sec and even if I'm sec I think there is restrictions in knowledge

I thought someone ghosted but apparently in hud people's bodies decay and you just can't revive them unless you do I don't know what im suppose to do but the same skull ghosted sign is put for people that decayed and it gets an X if they departed I'm scared confused and my ping is 100-200 I think I made the wrong server choice SEC CAN RANDOM SEARCH IN BLUE ALERT but I'm in deep to far also I noted for saying ghosted and I had to think of the right IC term to use for 2 hours and I think souless is the right term but is it I don't know

Also it has the old combat system which now that I tried it last time I tried it was my first server paradise is ass

over all bee has some nice features like they still have hivemind and clock cult and they have brig physician WHY DON'T WE HAVE THAT it truly puzzles me why the Bee branch didn't steal more from TG instead of letting itself bite the dust into the past maybe people like that I don't know

HMG/DLMGs are very nice kinetic for short cost but their range is ultimately a little low unless you're going for extreme SO massacres - but bless Devastators. Needlers @ 750 range also can't be understated with this loadout since their """short range""" is offset by the fact that you're supposed to be playing close and dirty with Devastators already.

The loadout pictured above is my invincible lead wall dreadnaught, UYSF Hoshiguma (Dun Scaith from Tahlan's "Legio Infernalis" faction). Its job is to be a 3090 armor death tank and it's been given hullmods that make its armor even better in terms of damage reduction.
Its other job is to make every single enemy that uses fighter spam, missile spam, or shields have a very bad day - Raphiel MRMs (Sylphon) and Needlers punish people for keeping their shields up, and Devastators are still flux-efficient against em. When those shields drop, Devastators can either fire frontal or broadside bursts and strip armor, while ensuring that no strikecraft, no missile, and no frigate ever enters its airspace - it's really good against OMEGA ships with their extremely lethal high-mobility fighter spam.

I'm still on the early game/pre-colony stage on my current run, so I use what I can get/find for sale. I got three Devastators in total; using two on my Dominator, and one on my Conquest broadside (with a Mjolnir cannon I found on a cache). The MO is to send that plus three eagles with EMP stuff headfirst into the enemy and blitz before they can cause flux to build it.

The plan is to reform the fleet once I got a factory colony running. Still, the devastator idea is mint.

About range: every ship runs with the ballistic and generic range increase hullmods, so they can kinda behave like a regular build, which waaaaay more enemy flux generation due to the individual shots. It's fucking great.

Once I'm off work I'll drop the composition.

as i recall-
it was a solo, competitive antagonist that evolved into a team antagonist if it won. As a hivemind, you were gifted with some enormous psychic power and wanted to increase it. You did this by tapping into the minds of others to establish a network- without their knowledge, until you used a power that informed them that they were part of it(like controlling them briefly, or using their body to heal yourself). After getting so many people into your network, you'd unlock the ability to ascend, and everyone in your network would join your team and become under your control, while also being extremely visible(they glowed pink IIRC).

It's a cool concept, but there were two main problems, that I remember:
1. The same issue heretics have right now, but worse; if they get exposed, it fucks over all other hiveminds in the round. Sec busts out the mindshield implants, and people get cured from and become immune to your shenanigans unless you've already got too many people in your network and can just break the mindshield. This was exacerbated by the fact that it was added before dynamic, so hiveminds were the only antagonists on the station.
2. It was really, really boring to play. Adding someone to your network required you to stand in the same room as them without moving for a while, which was annoying to pull off then and would be borderline impossible now. It was not a very action-oriented antagonist and the powers it offered were mostly useful for running away or fucking with people.
