I have been siding with the appealers a lot lately, but this note almost seems to forgiving, strange that he would appeal it. This is a clear example of unprompted escalation to lethal force. The fact that he did not continue the force to crit does not excuse the escalation. After getting firelocked like that Reider is 100% an antag as far as all witnesses and Bugger are concerned, hard to think of a better example of self antagging. Seems to me like he was just trying to bait a violent retaliation from Bugger so he could "defend" himself with deadly force.

The issue is that the issues you claim he's causing are all very circumstantial. We can act on them, but unless they're clear-cut cases of griefing (like this is), they aren't something we can really punish for in the long run. Notes like this are meant to inform our decisions later on in handling other issues, and if enough fo them exist, we can push for harsher punishment. If he really is a bad player (which I'm not convinced of since I don't have much IC interaction with him), then he'll get his eventually. It's just not as clear cut as "he bombed half the station as a non-antag, ban him".

He is taking the absolute worst way to handle this note. Trying to justify griefing by rules lawyering paints quite a bad picture of him, and shows that he does not understand the meaning of the rules and a lack of empathy.

Now straight up lying by trying to claim it was specism RP (which is nonsensical because he gave sutures after crushing them with a firelock, which would only make sense if it was an accident, fail RP!), when it clearly wasn't. This is bad faith.
