Let’s give the Baton change a trial period

Post by The Wrench » #666436

Refer to title, I’m really curious how the combat meta would change after a month of batons being restricted would look like.

testing it out is based but I think the brig physician role coming along with the batons would do a lot to help

Remove batons before making them bulky

The one round where it was merged I'm pretty sure sec was just lethaling people and healing them, ignoring them completely because it wasn't worth the effort, or lethaling them and just leaving them dead because they couldn't ignore them but healing them was too much work.

So either that would happen or the captain and HoS would just red alert shift start I'd say.

What if we just made the stam damage from batons be effected by armor?

Simplest solution is just remove knockdown. That's the problem part. Baton is still a 2 hit win and causes slow but now adrenals are actually useful.

Should be other way round. Telebatons give paralysis, so I don't have to be such a sweat and shove a crackhead mashing movement buttons.
