so byond let us test a release that can now use more than one cpu core. not so much for game code, but the engine back end tasks that take up 25 to 40% of the cpu time on avg high pop (and 60% of the cpu time if tram hates you), are now offloaded. this is why time dilation has been so low the last couple of days.

Hopefully the days of spending an hour to refill a room because atmos ss was almost frozen are over. I'll see how it will go when Terry is 90 pop again.

I haven't noticed that much of a difference but it might be due to the fact that my internet has been either flat out dead or borderline dying these last few weeks.
