This came up in another thread where someone claimed "we all" metacommed when we started out on SS13... and then everyone told this person that no, we did not, and an admin joked that the user would now be permabanned as there was no statute of limitations.
If there isn't one already, there should be a time limit after which bans can't be placed.

We'd have to determine how long the statute of limitations would be per offense, otherwise we could say something like "two months" and then find out someone did some serious shit at some point and be unable to ban them.

It isn't something that needs to be codified. Ban appeals are public, so if it's a ridiculous asspull it'll be very visibly horrible

Dude ahelped and thereby forced this guy to spend even more time appealing it. Would've been nicer for the admin to not pick a side on the IC issue to begin with, but my bigger point is zyb was being a prick so it's hard for me to take his side.

Explosive as in damage type, the only type of exploding dice LANCER has is as a special effect of the Vlad license level 3 combat drill, which adds 1D6 damage each time Overkill procs (if a die rolls 1, take 1 heat and reroll) against prone, immobilized, or stunned targets, which can themselves proc overkill and continue the damage chain.

LANCER damage types are Kinetic / Energy / Explosive, with special types of burn (pierces armor, applies stacking DoT) and heat (not classed as "damage" but works in a similar manner)

The weapon here is the Rocket-Propelled Grenade, except it's a mech-sized RPG so that's more like a 280mm rocket being launched out of the tube or some similarly goofy shit

That actually sounds like a really funny campaign premise- The party are D&D characters. The setting is Lancer. Everything else uses Lancer rules. The Party uses D&D rules. Isekai Bullshit ensues.

Maybe not an entire campaign, but it'd make a fun one-shot probably.

Don’t know if it’s true but i often hear that one of the earliest use of “hit point” in tabletop gaming related to how many 14 inch battleship shells it would take to sink you.
