This strange creature made something similar and I want to continue the trend, but more SS13 related because it’s the players thread. The reason? We ran out of things to make peanuts of. We are beginning a mass conspiracy theory and the admins are planning something.

In this thread I’ll (try to) r8 your character names. I don’t care what server they are from. I don’t care if they aren’t from Manuel. Just throw them down the hole with the others.

I don’t call myself a master judge, but if anyone is more experience at r8ing than me go ahead and throw your thoughts in here.

Anyway, let it begin or, more realistically, let it slowly start up because the activity on the forums are inconsistent.

It sounds cool. I like 2 part last names. They do something for me. Same thing for like if I read the name Dubois, it feels so dignified and proper.

Plus, the portrait for your static activated something in my ape brain. Seems like the type of girl to quote Emily Dickinson. I quite like it.

Johnny Golden… sounds like a James Bond type of name. Some secret agent guy, but it’s clear that you aren’t a secret agent. More like some cool dude making their way down the hall on a nearby station, ship, or planetary base. Whatever, it ranks up there with duke nukem, but not as high, just a tad bit lower. It’s still a creative name nonetheless, and it gives a vibe a normal character would fail to do JUST by looking at the name. 8/10!

Eh, I’m not sure about this name. It feels a bit weird adding sheets at the end and Jerome at the start. But it is an interesting twist, expecting a normal name but then seeing the last name. It just doesn’t give a connection to Jerome, and such is amusing, but “Sheets” doesn’t give that spice certain names have. I’d give it a 5/10 for creativity.

Noah Froggers? Excellent name. Now, this is another one of those “names that have a Normal name first, weird name last” and this is an example of a good name that does such. The random “froggers” last name gives an amusing expression, and is pretty funny. But, depending on how you look at it, I feel like it can give a in-depth type of view just by looking at the name, perhaps someone who is obsessed with frogs? 7/10, it ranks high up there.

Claude Croaker? Another frog reference! First letters match, and gives off a whimsical name vibe of suck. It’s like Noah Froggers, but it rhymes! I’ll add a 7.66667/10 for the creativity with this name, but it also ranks up high.

I've been playing on TGMC with a character named Offal Sweets.

Offal Sweets gives off a candy and sweet type of feeling. I don’t know how, but Offal somehow mixes with Sweets in a way. While, yes, it doesn’t really match given that you work for the ARMY (oorah!!) it still inspires yourself a bit when looking at the name. A good old sci-fi name. 6/10.

Jay Chambler? Sounds like someone who would robust someone then throw them into the brig to commit to Space Law and justice. Of course, while it doesn’t have a twist, it still gives off a certain vibe with its last name that I just can’t shake off. 6/10.

Ricky Paxton. Now, I’m not sure if this is just me, but do you guys see how badass of a name this is? The way it’s said, Ricky PAXTON just blows you off the rails. I’m not sure if it rhymes or what, or, I’m just stupid, but this name gives off a powerful aura like Johnny Golden, just add a little bit of robustness. ROBUST/10.

I have seen this name before on the fourms. Man, this is an unpredictable type of name. One that only a mad scientist would wield. Or, perhaps even a lawyer? I’m not sure. However, it’s strong, and even if gives no outrageously dastardly vibe, it still gives a strong aura. 7/10.

Oh thank god. mean, I don’t know if this is better. It sounds like a silly name, like one you would name a sci-fi main character. It’s a long name that I’m not sure many enjoy, but, it still is a bit funny and I’m willing to give some leeway. Up you go on 7/10.

A normal name, yes, but a name to be proud of. It’s a unique name that gives a civilized type of reading to it. RICHARD HASTINGS, KIGHT OF ENGINEERING, THE SEVENTH! You get my drift. 7/10, because it’s also creative.

Maia your name is everywhere already. The last name Roentgen gives a feeling that you would be good in Engineering, combined with the first name, Maia, it gives sort of a twist to it. Overall, it’s a good name, but it doesn’t give the strong aura I would accept. Still a good name that clearly has a lot of time put into it. 6/10.

Kevin Parkinson, feels like an average name, someone you would throw into a station for no reason. I like it. Normal/absurd.
Jayda Mcloskey is a tricky name… gives off a normal aura, but, there’s something there? Weird. Maybe it’s the last name. Mc/Mac.
