Did I ever tell you what the definition of crazy is? Crazy is being locked in a rubber room, surrounded by rats, where the repetition of posting the exact same thing over and over again drives you to madness, expecting it to be funny... and realizing it's a never-ending cycle of insanity.

Yes, the rules state you are allowed reprisal when the man goes as far as to murder you, steal your stuff, mutilate you after death, and does not help you get revived.

Whether the retaliation is spacing the body after killing him in revenge is a different matter that needs to be discussed.

The point was that the guy is allowed to take revenge up to and including killing, Vekter should have given Joe a chance to explain what happened.

To be honest copy pasta deserves the mule so I don't agree with warning the chap either.

Reminder that this was on Manuel and that there's [in theory] a general higher standard of RP and modified escalation. Why didn't Vekter make any mention about how pitiful the chaplain's reason for killing him was? Killing someone for being annoyed by saying the same thing over and over again? This kind of thing sounds normal for Terry or Sybil, but not Manuel.

That's not to say that the copypasta wasn't ridiculous either though. Goes to show that Manuel players and Terry and Sybil players are cut from the same cloth.

Manuel has a higher standard of RP, but it's not HRP. Death is still (relatively) cheap in the far future and given everything that was going on and how often he was spamming it, I can't really blame the Chaplain for reacting violently.

Everything he did after critting the guy was over-escalation, though.

Same round where I got a 24 hour ban for beheading an assistant for shove stunning me in my bridge. God bless green shifts and the crews and admins inability to press 1 billion buttons and make the game unfun for everyone else. Admins on that round, among other things. Spawned like 30 Rat kings, gave EVERYONE a permanent brain trauma, kept teleporting my nuke disk out of my bag, and forced a rod. Absolutely shit round

I would say you are on in the minority on Manuel when it came to thinking this way about conflict because I've definitely been noted for far less on there. handle all my tickets there from henceforth the few rare moments I log in there, thanks!

Your ban wasn't for killing, it was round removing, and it would've been a note if you hadn't done exactly this same thing multiple times in the past.
