We should make an annual touch grass week

We as a society get much too wrapped up in our games, and clearly some of us are severely addicted.


My solution is as follows, shut down the servers for a week and heavily encourage grass touching. Nick did it, and I’m sure it went fine.

while i know this is a joke caused by CURRENT EVENTS i'm going to ruin it by coming in with a serious opinion:

a lot of people in this community use it as an escape from tough times in their life, and find a lot of value in it that genuinely helps them. i've done it and i know a lot of good players that do, too.

if someone hasn't broken the rules in such a way that the decision needs to be made to remove them from the space for a while, then in my mind there's no good reason to dictate when players can and can't access their funny spaceman game. we're (supposed to be) adults here, and i already inhabit enough of a maternal figure that it would feel weird going the extra mile into telling them to turn off the game because they've got school tomorrow.

Not everyone plays this game that often that they need to be booted off it for a week. That's a personal problem more than anything else and you can request a week ban if you want it.
