I think the main issue here is if somebody posted a picture of a clown and said "here's the LGBT flag" that wouldn't be taken as respectful or generally in good taste.

I think we should all address the elephant in the room and discuss the central focus as to why Fren's behaviour is wrong. he stated that "I think it's okay for straight people to celebrate their identity." this is a dangerous ideology and shouldn't be encouraged, nor tolerated. I would personally never allow my child near a heterosexual, since then they might risk growing up to be heterosexual. If a child saw two people of the opposite sex holding hands, how would you even begin to explain that? It's a slippery slope and really shouldn't be tolerated. I'd advocate for a permaban, just to really cement the fact that pro-heterosexuality isn't something we should be tolerating on this server.
