anyways, as someone who was at the funeral, i'd say the appeal seems pretty genuine. i saw the whole thing, he kept it IC and was just going along with the joke like most of the people there. not once did i get the impression that he was being malicious in any way, so it kind of sucks that kieth got lumped in with people who, unlike himself, actually had bad intentions.

at least 20 people were involved in the funeral as a whole, few of which were even admins, everyone was just having fun for the greater part of it. and you do realize unfair or exaggerated punishments can happen, right? if you had actually read the logs or even watched the video (i even gave you a timestamp to make things easier...) it'd be pretty clear he wasn't harassing anyone. he himself says in the appeal he never meant to direct the "centcom kys" at any individuals nor that he had any intentions of offending anyone. i don't know why you're making it seem as if he said he was harassing people in the appeal when he clearly never said anything like that? as for why i'm defending him; i just don't like to see a person slandered over mere assumptions.

I never claimed that he was harassing people in the appeal thread, I don't know where you're getting that from. But I'm telling you right now that telling Centcomm to kill themselves is absolutely in no way a smart move whatsoever. Also, I don't think it's slander nor do I think that they're a victim to any sort of grand conspiracy. What they said was abhorrent and I think the right punishment was handed down here, however I also believe in their ability to be able to appeal the permaban given that they realize all of the things I've said before.

i'd say he is being slandered considering i've seen people say he specifically told the admin whose ckey was dropped to kill themselves, which he in fact had nothing to do with. no one ever said that saying "centcom kill yourself" is smart by the way, but his intentions and the way it was done is not nearly as bad as what you are making it out to be
