Hello fellow reader,

If you are a certified (or an aspiring) Adventurer, we are looking for YOU!

Commander Michaela Schroeder invites you to, today (10/01) at 23:59 UTC (in roughly 9 hours) in the Campbell Tavern (aka the Library), join us in a laid-back session of D&D 5E. We are not exactly looking for a Dungeon Master but, if you're willing to DM, it'd be cool so Jemnor can play. No experience is required whatsoever and, if you are new to the game, everything will be explained.

Prepare your character sheets, if you want to, and show up to the GREATEST ADVENTURE OF ALL TIMES!!!

This will be an admin event, so your character sheet will actually be used in-game if you wish to share it. I will automatically generate characters for anyone who doesn't feel like doing that or doesn't know how to!

I personally use dndbeyond it's really useful for newer players like myself but it has limitations on what races/classes you can pick unless you buy the packs but I'm sure somebody with more experience has an alternative

Just like Togopal suggested, I was also going to use dndbeyond to quickly generate the characters. I highly suggest using it since going off the books might be slightly confusing. After you finish creating your character, please go to the last tab and export your character to a pdf. Then feel free to send it over to me on Discord (justice54) so that I can insert it into the round!

if OP posts what the chargen stats are (starting level, rolling formula or stat matrices etc, any DM restrictions, FEATS??? etc) then i will happily roll characters for people who don't know how, i been playin these dice games for so long i can roll a character in nanoseconds

YES, FINALLY. I shall attend this merry occasion as it just so happens to be one of my favorite hobbies. If you want a willing DM then I'd be happy to shake off a bit of rust to do so. But do know that it's been roughly three years since I've actually ran a game.

If that's fine then I will list out all sorts of resources and the basic important stuff.

That's stuff that will be mainly discussed on the spot. You can show up, roll the characters and hang out, in case you don't wanna play the game itself. ThatEngineer will be DMing!

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay until the end but it seems everyone enjoyed the experience, so I'm considering doing this kind of event more often. I'm currently in my exams season, so I'm highly restrained. However, when this crap is over, I will make sure to host this more times. (other admins can do this too, it's not that hard, just figure out who DMs e.e)
