A xenobiologist/you has made some golems and you are the HOP/Captain. You could use some extra hands around the station. What do you assign your golems to?

If i personally made those golems and they are slaved to me, i'll brainswap them into humans, then assign them to jobs like security and command. Not gonna say no to some extra hands to take down any roaming traitors.

If they are NOT slaved to me, then i wont assign them to sensitive positions and give them something like janitor to keep them occupied.

Golems should be assigned to the execution chamber. In all my time playing this game I have yet to encounter a golem that wasn't a pain in the ass.

nah you get assists count as kill, but we all now assist counts as kill, is utter bullshit. I do NOT want assist counts as kill, I want KILL I want PENTA KILL I want the fucking DEATHS ROLLING ON MY DOOR STEP!

this thread made me realize how much the attitude towards golems has changed over the years. they were basically kill on sight for the longest time because their reputation was that 99.9% of the time they were doing something heinously shitty and deserved to be destroyed.

i still don't trust them as far as i can throw them but i don't remember the last time i had to reach for that mf ting i always keep on me the moment i see one round the corner in central primary...

Brainswapping golems into regular humans so they can be fully formed henchmen is stupid. its a golem. it only has a brain because its a code mechanical requirement.

Similar to paramedics, I assume golems are shitters/antags until proven otherwise. If I see a golem covered in blood or wielding a spear I assume it even more.

Oh, do other people mean they attack what they presume to be shitters? I just assume the worst and prepare for it internally. Like if a paramedic is shuffling around my department I'm expecting them to either run off with department equipment or run off with the department pet (god progtot objectives suck dick) If I see blood covered golemns walking the halls I assume they probably just did something bad and steer clear of them.
