i propose the addition of the following to our ban appeal template:

For example, if you have recently been banned from another server, or have had issues in other communities, it may be a preferable to be transparent and address that here, rather than them being brought up during the appeal process. If this section does not apply to you, feel free to remove it.
i think our current appeal template does not propose this line of thinking to players who are appealing, and so it can be unnecessarily confrontational at times to present them with issues on other servers asking for more information. they may not have considered disclosing that information, or that it may be preferable for them to be forthcoming and transparent with this information to benefit their case.
should this section be added it may allow for some wiggle room with players who have had recent troubles on other servers; those who have improved their mindset and can help to show that by disclosing those issues and addressing them.
i was inspired to propose this addition after
posting some very recent bans in a player's appeal which they had not mentioned, after which i realized we do not really ask them for this information, and therefore they may not even consider mentioning it to improve their odds at having a successful appeal.
