Fun harmless feature, give or take karma from players for raisins after you die, its was pretty cool and would be great to have back
The most excessive signature on /tg/station13.

Still not even at the limit after 8 fucking years.

I can sort of see the feature.
Imagine, as a ghost, you can click a person, similar to how you'd examine them, and view things like Karma.
LIke a giant bar ontop of a customizable character description. The bar would be great, and the red would increase the less Karma you'd have.
It would work.

I'm just saying that on any site with karma system there's inevitably gonna be a bunch of problems because of that karma system. We have no need for that, so why even do it? It also doesn't make any sense in roleplaying game. Do you karma a character? What if character is a dick deliberately? What if I change character to be nice? If you rate the character itself, not the person, then what if I remove that character and make a new one?

Finally, what would be the purpose of karma in the first place?

Oh and just don't get me started on raping wizard's karma because he did not spawn guns and the likes of that.

All these flaws aside the old system was prone to abuse even by a single person.

I remember pissing a guy off one round and getting -40 karma in one round through some bug they abused, I know it wasn't the entire server angry with me because no one else even said they were unhappy in OOC.
