Or add in baymed, where you can technically take a few rounds and keep going because the silly bugger only hit your arm.Because unless that sort of thing is added the damage isint goina get buffed, due to balance.

The Singularity and Gravity Generator should produce a beautiful, shimmering ambience light.
Purple light from the Singularity (although theoretically shouldn't a black hole be sucking light? Maybe it could produce just darkness...) and green ambient lightning from the Gravity Generator Room would be so cool.
And Nar'Nar could produce an alarming, strong, red light aura!
Tcomms, AI Upload and AI Chamber could have a light blue ambience because of the blue floors.
And on another note it would be awesome if the rotating sun would actually produce light outside in space, instead of whole space being a lighted up environment.
i'll leave rewriting our entire lighting system to support colored light up to you.kosmos wrote:We had a thread about glowing party sticks and other pretty lights, right?

Oh and it should be made possible to build the TEG (Thermo Electric Generator) on any station through supply crates and assembling or by manually building them from scratch.

this is just going to be ass to do, but it would be really cool if it could happen :v

There should be a small homemade-looking wooden derelict or dj-station of some sort floating in space because the thought of it amuses me greatly.Psyentific (from the Wires Shock on Contact -thread) wrote:Wood station 13 when?
What?MedicInDisquise wrote:Why the fuck can't we type in BPM.
As someone with wireless, it takes 2 years to put in 218 BPM.
You mean BPM in the musical instruments? While you import a song, you can type in the BPM.MedicInDisquise wrote:Why the fuck can't we type in BPM.

This is the ideas-forum, not tied to coding or mapping.AseaHeru wrote:That sounds good, but is a mapping thing more of a coding thing.
Btw I made the ghetto surgery -section on the wiki a lot easier to follow for the ghetto surgeon, in hopes of people doing surgery more, even if it's just ghetto gender reassignments on the dirty maintenance tunnel floor!AseaHeru wrote:People do surgery at all?

What? I'm literally baffled by your logic here. Why should looking things up on an external site be mandatory? It's the same information just displayed in a more user-friendly way.miggles wrote:i dunno
it seems too hand-holding for surgery
if you dont know surgery procedures you can easily just look at the wiki and do all of them
Why the hell don't we just make everything magically spawn guidelines? Let people put at least SOME effort into the bloody thing. Surgery barely requires any skill already and you want to dumb it down even further?MisterPerson wrote:Why should looking things up on an external site be mandatory?

The op computer has references to the Patient, so I simply went Patient --> Surgeries list --> Surgery --> Surgery steps.Perakp wrote:You can do surgeries in other places besides robotics and surgery room though. I know particle accelerator code checks for nearby accelerator parts, you could modify that to check for nearby operating computers.
I suppose that'd be something.Gun Hog wrote:Make the descriptions more computer-ey! Example: "Recommended Procedure: cauterize wound" or similar.

Good job Miggles now I'm gonna go jump off a cliff.miggles wrote:pineapples do not grow on trees

They stop your movement but don't count as walls. Very annoying.kosmos wrote:If you smell the bottom of the pineapple, you can tell if it's good. If the bottom has no smell, it won't taste sweet, but if it smells like pineapple, it's good.
Also: In zero gravity, lockers should be counted as walls (enabling you to move). It was awful to navigate through armory in zero g because I was getting stuck between lockers and I always had to throw shit to get myself moving again.
And zero gravity punching should project both targets in opposite directions.
you still have to code a system that properly mixes the colors and such. easy is not the word I would use. 500 makes it feasible because it makes us not need a sprite for every single possible color ever.Kavaloosh wrote:doesn't v500 or whatever make it easy?Miauw wrote:i'll leave rewriting our entire lighting system to support colored light up to you.kosmos wrote:We had a thread about glowing party sticks and other pretty lights, right?
